Volunteer Opportunities

Technical professionals, academics, college students, and past award recipients (who are over age 18) are invited to volunteer with Aspirations in Computing. Volunteering to work with these talented young women is very rewarding and the time commitment is flexible. Both women and men are encouraged to participate – it takes all of us to make a change!

Review Applications

With thousands of applications for the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing each year and hundreds of applications for the NCWIT Educator Award, we need your help to review them all! Every review helps us select winners and honorable mentions for the award. Reviewing applications generally takes only a few hours, but means the world to the NCWIT Aspirations team.

If you would like to volunteer to review applications, please create an account. The review process begins in early November and continues through the end of the month.

Host an Award

The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing affiliate program leverages the network of over 450 NCWIT member organizations to recognize increasingly more young women each year by implementing the award locally. Hosting a local Award for Aspirations in Computing is fun, easy, and rewarding!
