Dr. Daniel Szelogowski is a high school Computer Science and Music teacher in Janesville, WI. With an eclectic academic background encompassing Music, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, and a Ph.D. in AI, Daniel has been a transformative force in education, with the last two years dedicated to full-time certified teaching. His unique interdisciplinary experience enriches the curriculum and equips students with a robust, college-level understanding of computer science, even in non-AP classes. Daniel skillfully integrates insights from his doctoral research into the classroom, fostering an environment where complex problem-solving and innovative thinking flourish.
Beyond the classroom, Daniel is proud to lead the CS education community, frequently serving as a judge/referee for local FIRST Robotics competitions. This role has allowed him to contribute significantly to nurturing young talent and staying at the forefront of technological advancements. Additionally, Daniel’s commitment to education extends through private tutoring and online course development, where he tailors learning experiences to meet individual student needs.
